The Strategic Peacock is a big fan of adopting pets!
Last year, the Strategic Peacock was a gold paw 🐾 sponsor at the Champaign Humane Society’s annual Fur Ball. This year, we’re sponsoring a new element — the Stellar Cellar Wine Pull, where participants buy a ticket to select a “mystery” bottle of wine from our large collection. Join us at the Fur Ball on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the I Hotel and Illinois Conference Center to help raise funds for pets in need!
Pull a mystery bottle of wine (or twelve) from Strategic Peacock‘s Stellar Cellar to try something new! The prizes in the Stellar Cellar have an average value of $28.50 per ticket pull and include varietals and winemakers from all over the world.
What bottle will you discover?
Every ticket pull will win at least one bottle of wine, and 15 chances will win big!
- One lucky pull will win a case of wine valued at $350 or more
- Six lucky bottles will be a Veuve Clicquot Champagne valued at $55 or more
- Three lucky bottles will be 1,500mL
- Five lucky bottles will come with wine accessory essentials
And the best part is, you don’t need to be in the ballroom to participate! If you’re not able to join us at the Fur Ball, but want to support our pets, you can purchase your ticket pulls early and redeem them LIVE from anywhere in the world on the night of the event. If you can’t select live, you can also choose your pulls after the event. Every ticket pull will win at least one bottle of wine, even from home!
Want the best odds to win a top prize? Interested in stocking your cellar? You can also make half case or full case pulls! More tickets get you more wine, more opportunities to take home a top prize, and a lower price per chance.

Was your prize bottle not to your taste? Try again! Give back your bottle and ask to make a new choice for an additional donation of $10 per bottle exchange.

Every ticket pull will receive at least one bottle of wine when redeeming their ticket. Individual bottles range in value from $14.99-$89.99. Tickets can be redeemed live between 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM CST on November 1, 2024. If you miss your chance to pull your ticket live you may contact elizabeth@cuhumane.org to make your selection after the event. Wine Pull prizes must be claimed before 5:30 PM CST on March 31, 2024, or they will be forfeited. Selections for ticket pulls will be first come, first served, including for online participants.
