Thanks to my cousin, Mike Peacock, an accomplished musician and audio engineer, the Strategic Peacock has its own radio commercial. As an instructor for the Art Institute of Las Vegas, he assigned his class a real world project, in which they got to create radio commercials for real clients. The students created the copy (assisted with relevant information about the company and audience) and produced different types of commercial — featuring different voices, music and overall compositions.
The chosen commercial would be heard during the Indie Outbreak podcast, which Mike helped develop and manages. The weekly podcast features the best Indie music on the planet and has an audience of over 400,000 listeners.
The results were outstanding! So much so, I selected two commercials as the winners. They capture the energy of The Strategic Peacock while conveying the appropriate messaging. I am thrilled to reveal the final ads.
