I don’t do resolutions. Declaring your aspirations to the world isn’t necessary — actions speak louder than words, after all. I hold myself accountable for the goals I set, the risks I take and the mistakes I make.
However, I do like the idea of new beginnings. I love the start of a new school year, so it’s only natural that I enjoy the start of a new year. While you won’t find me out celebrating or even staying up past midnight, I look forward to exploring the opportunities and possibilities that 2014 holds.
