Anyone who knows me, knows that I get very excited to go back to school! This year, I have twice as many reasons to be excited!
First, I’ve been promoted to Senior Lecturer in the Charles H. Sandage Department of Advertising! After five years in the College of Media – University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I can honestly say that I’m enjoying every moment!
Secondly, I will be a student this year — in the Fine and Applied Arts at Illinois-MFA Design for Responsible Innovation program.
To be a faculty member and student during orientation week is like winning the lottery! So many cool events and opportunities to meet amazing people!
This year, I’ve put together a BacktoSchool playlist. It includes songs, new and old, to get excited, stay focused, and remember how awesome we are! (If you’re not like me, and back to school gives you the Sunday Scaries on a permanent basis, hopefully this will get you going!)
